AVI is a popular video file format and known as its small size but good quality to broadcast to the internet. Many Mac users want to compress their DVD collection to AVI files but can’t find a safe and fast DVD to AVI Mac ripping/converting program. Instruction of using the iSkysoft program to rip/convert a DVD to AVI format on Mac

Step1. Launch iSkysoft DVD ripper for Mac on your iMac or Macbook. Insert the DVD that you want to convert to AVI into the DVD drive.

Step2. Click the "Load DVD" option under the "File" menu, then choose the DVD drive from the list of option and the titles/chapters will be loaded to the program. You can also choose a DVD folder or ISO file on your Mac hard drive.

Step3. Choose the “AVI” format from the list of options under the “Video Format” section. Some optimized presets for devices like BlackBerry and PSP which support AVI video playback, that’s to say, if you are about to play your files on these portable devices, you can directly choose the preset for them which may save your time a lot.

Step4. Click “Convert” button to start the conversion to AVI. The conversion progress will be on the screen and a completion screen will appear once the conversion has finished.
