    Microsoft Outlook uses Personal Storage Folders or PST files to store all its data, which includes e-mail folders, contacts, calendar entries, and other personal data.     1. Make sure that Outlook is closed before you start the tool
    2. Double-click the Scanpst.exe file to launch the tool
    3. Browse to the location of your PST file
    4. Click 'Start' to start the file scanning
    5. Once scanning finishes, you see a notification box. Mark the checkbox for creating the backup of scanned file
    6. Click 'Repair' to repair the corrupted PST.
