Burden, Work Pressure, Inadequacy in Salaries, Mounting Temper,Insults… These are the characteristics due to which an employee might quit hiswork. When you give 9 - 10 hours of your day to an institution you expectrewarding returns. The aura should be invigorating so that the employee feelsgood about going back to work.

Contentment is the key to retention. If an employee issatisfied or exultant with his job, it will keep him captive to theorganization for a longer period. Understand the capabilities of your juniorand on the basis of that give him work. When you know that someone cannotachieve a particular target do not pressurize them to do so. A stressedemployee cannot contribute intimately towards your organization.

If you are pragmatic enough you would understand that aperson toils only to receive his salary at the end of the month. They mightaccept a little delay but if your company is incompatible in bequeathing themwith their monthly income, then they will surely quit.

Appreciation is also important. The employee should know hisworth; acknowledgment makes him work harder and keep up his standards. Insultsand constant contumely cannot be handled by all hence if you wish to criticizesomeone’s work, do it with ease and be conscientious.

The Human Resource Department should work hand-in-hand toensure that along with the customers even the employee is contented with hiswork and work surroundings.
