Is skill developement scheme launched by central govt in all states effective in its present form?
skill developement scheme launched by central govt of india is meant for enhancement of skill in school dropped /unskilled /semi skilled category of workers/labours engaged in diffrent fields. intention to inplement of this scheme is very goodbecause this wil definitely enhance the quality of service , products as well living standard of the country. how ever the biggest hurdle in motivating the benificeries is the fees , they are supposed to pay for training which is RS 2000/ for training and Rs 300-800 for assesment. though this is refundable in case of sucessful candidates but a big question is how a poor person earning hardly 2000-3000 per month can spares such huge fee for training. this is the main reason why this scheme is lacking motivation in poor benificeries.
in order to faccilate poor peoples joining this scheme, waiver of fees and assessment charges or 100/% subsidy shall be granted to training institutes directly on account of sucessful candidates.no payment from poor peoples joining training under skill developement scheme shall be charged.secondly govt shall ensure enhancement of wages of sucessful candidates under this scheme which will defitely motivate poor peoples towards this schemewhich will fullfill the motto of this scheme.
