Today, Geet Sagar wins the title of X Factor India on Sony Entertainment Television in the grand finale episode. The episode was scheduled to air at 8 PM on September 2, 2011.

A 27-year old guy from Gwalior won the title of X Factor India. He has been worked as a Radio Jockey (RJ) also. Name of the winner is announced by Katrina Kaif. She had participated in the grand finale episode of X Factor India with Imran Khan and Ali Zafar to promote – Mere Dulhan Ki Brother Movie.

Viewers had expected to see Seema Jha as the winner of the Show. But Geet Sagar became the winner. He was mentored by Shreya Ghoshal.

Grand finale of X Factor India was more entertaining than ever with many funny video clips of judges, hosts and contestants. The episode was started with top 3 finalists – Sajda Sisters, Seema Jha and Geet Sagar.

Sajda Sisters group became the performer of the series. The group was awarded by ONIDA LED TV. LAVA M30 music phone was also promoted on the stage by Sandip Zutsi. He offered LAV M30 phone to all three finalists.

Deewana Group, Last Minute Group and other top 12 contestants also performed in the grand finale episode of X Factor India on Sony TV. Seema Jha made the episode more appreciating by her acts and singing.

X Factor India is Indian version of singing reality talent Show. It was started in May 2011. Thousands of aspiring contestants had participated in the audition rounds.

Announcement of name of X Factor India was done by Katrina Kaif in the end of the episode. Geet Sagar received a check of Rs. 50. He became India’s first X Factor. He got a contract from Dharma Productions also. Geet Sagar has gotten a contract to release a global album with Sony Music. Geet Sagar is awarded by a medal of X Factor also. It was the most beautiful moment for him. The Show was hosted by Aditya Narayan. It was judged by Sonu Nigam, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shreya Ghoshal.
