Let me start with congratulating each one of you for a great beginning to the new performance year. September 2011 was a record-breaking month for Amway India wherein we registered a turnover of 251 crores in a “single” month. This is the biggest month ever in the history of Amway India. This has set the momentum for another strong year ahead.
“game-changing” decisions to “de-risk” the business and ensure sustainable future growth.
Please find below the summary of the changes that we will be making:
•Joining cost becomes “ZERO”.
•Current Business kit gets replaced by new “Business Starter Guide”
•ABOs will get Business Starter Guide and ID card at the time of joining. Web joinees will get a soft copy of the Business Starter Guide.
•Photo ID and address proof become “mandatory” documents along with the application form.
•All new ABOs need to “activate” within 90 days of joining to remain in the business. Activation would mean any purchase or personal sponsoring.
•Offer 1 of FPO remains unchanged. Offer 2 now becomes “Rs 1000/- discount on order value on purchase of 100 PV products”. Timeframe for offer 2 increased from 45 days to 60 days.
•Refund policy remains unchanged for ABOs. Customers will be allowed to return products within 30 days of delivery.
•ABO information (Name and Address) would be made available on the Amway website. This would be limited to the ABO name and address.
•Renewal program remains unchanged.
•No Amagram for the new joinees. Only renewed ABOs get Amagram.
•Customer Receipt now “mandatory”. All ABOs to issue receipt to customers. Customer Receipt Pads would be available at nominal cost at all Amway offices.
•50 PPV retail effort rule will now apply to all 6% and above to get differential commission.
•BSM policy on Starter Pack (upto Rs 250/-) for new joinee during first 30 days remains unchanged. However, the new joinee must clearly understand that this is “optional”.
These changes will be implemented Pan-India with effect from November 01, 2011. Though these changes will be applicable from November 01, 2011, we will be refunding the joining fee (Rs 995/-) to all the new ABOs who have joined in the month of October 2011. This amount will be credited to their AR in the first week of November 2011.
