A strategist and A story of competing with least

 

Born on 15 April 1981 in a small town of UP and bought up with values from middle-class parents, taught that to make a business empire one needs passion and persistency only.

 After getting management and engineering degrees the young boy Siddhartha Bharadwaj( known as sid among friends and clients) left the job in a few months and moved to work for a dream project â??â??Building small brands into big oneâ??. The tour of Mumbai was godâ??s omen for this alchemist when he met with the dreamers and intellects like Mr. Sankara pillai and Mr. Rajam Ravi to set the foot into an unknown market where the revenue was depended on the growth of the client. First time in the history of Indian business, I saw a full of guts pricing strategy where a firms revenue is directly proportional to clients revenue.  The dream was of a world class reputated and prestigious organisation with the vision to transforming small manufacturers into branded one in the domestic and worldâ??s market. This project was not viable as per investors but madness has no limits he started alone two years back with a hope and rest is the success.

Siddhartha told me once that Sylloge Corporation business sense is to earn through the clientâ??s strengths like production, manufacturing quality and competencies but surely not from his pocket. He told that his main concern is the 70% manufacturers who need management concentration to grow but canâ??t afford big departments or consultants.

With a fearless face and  a killing smile this 27 year dashing alchemist is teaching young MBAs and managers  that  initiative is not to speak first in the management meetings or classrooms but to be first on an unknown way where the only hope is the one you create in employees and people working with you.

Apart from Sylloge, a dot com firm, Internsindia.com the brain child of Siddhartha serves professional students with knowledge and internships across the globe. It was to my surprise when Siddhartha told me that he made internsindia.com with first Rs.500 which is now the first page site of Google and serving students across India with good projects. The idea was to help youth with good internship opportunity.  He told me internsindia is never in his revenue model but a gift to MBAs with best work and remuneration.

Being sharing his birth day with Leonardo da Vinci, It is natural for him to be an artist, philosopher, management writer, musician, sportsman, chef and a simple guy.  This die heart follower of Alexander believes   that business is a war and the only thing which different from Alexanderâ??s time is mind as weapon instead of sword. In my discussions with him, I can see a devilâ??s mind  J hidden under a cute kid like face.

Sylloge Corporation is a way for SMEs to make their brand stronger against the giants in the domestic and international market in the lowest possible cost.

Itâ??s hard to define the characteristics of success as madness has no limits. I still canâ??t assume how god makes such fearless people who love success on one side and ready for failure with open heart. They do in what they believe regardless of people and situation against them. Really these people have guts to influence godâ??s decision.  Sometimes world class organizations take foundations like thisâ?¦..
