Following the Lenovo K900, we will see the new ZTE smartphone Z2580 which equipped with Intel dual-core processors ZTE Geek. ZTE Geek debut on Intel IT Summit held in April this year.
The ZTE Geek also features a 5-inch 720p display, an 8MP rear camera sensor and a 1MP front facing camera, 1GB of RAM as well as a 2,300 mAh battery which is required to keep the large display going for long. The 2 GHz Intel Atom chip is a power hog too, so the battery is of optimum importance.buy cell phones at inbluemall.com.
Spotted at the Intel Developer Forum in Beijing, the Geek was sitting at ZTE's booth. The phone runs on Android Jelly Bean and uses the same Intel processor as Lenovo's K900. It also sports a 5-inch 720p display, 8-megapixel camera and a 1-megapixel front-facer.
Inside you get 8GB of storage space to play with as well as 1GB of RAM. Keeping everything ticking over nicely is a 2,3000 mAh battery which is also capable of wireless charging. Finally you have the full a/b/g/n gamut of Wi-Fi and a 3G chip inside.
ZTE has so far not indicated when its Geek cheap smart phones will start shipping and at what price.
ZTE had recently launched its Grand Memo smartphone. This smartphone packs a 5.7-inch screen, a 13-megapixel camera and a 3,200mAh battery. The company is offering two versions of this smartphone. The Grand Memo being sold in China is powered by a Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064, while European version has a Snapdragon 800 variant with LTE support. Snapdragon 800 variant comes with a 2GB of RAM while the S4 Pro version offers 1GB RAM.
Design-wise the Geek takes a huge step away from the Grand X IN and shares a similarly clean look with the Grand S, but without the black eye around the main camera. This particular unit had a glossy white finish as well, but we'd prefer a matte finish for a more premium feel. Since ZTE admitted that it had to rush this prototype for exhibition at IDF, we'll come back to the build quality once we see a final retail unit. Until then, check out our hands-on video and the press release after the break.
