SI: What is the concept of Fast Clean and how it came into existence?

MA: FASTCLEAN as the name suggests (came into existence in 2006) offers mechanized cleaning and disinfection of water storage tanks in houses, buildings, commercial complex, hospitals, hotels, school & colleges through multi step cleaning process done by neatly dressed trained technicians with the help of high pressure jets, vacuum cleaners, suction pumps etc. in a scientific and professional way.

Cleaning is the basic and regular need of every water storage tanks. Till now, most of the people used to rely on manual cleaning done by untidy labors in the absence of a proven mechanism and lack of awareness. We started addressing this issue very sensitively and professionally as we found exponential scope in this. Through us, the tanks get cleaned Faster and Better.

SI: Which are the services provided by Fast Clean?

MA: We offer mechanized cleaning and disinfection of water storage tanks most professionally and reach to thousands of clients. We are also into mechanized cleaning of office floors, softening plants, R.O. and offer complete water solutions.

SI: What is the USP of Fast Clean?

MA:
1.We have the experience of more than 5years exclusively in this line cleaning n disinfecting tanks between 500ltrs to 35lac liters of municipal corporations, large corporates, MNCs, Govt. buildings apart from myriads of homes and apartments.

2. We are the fastest emerging brand in the country, the largest in central India and No.1 in Chattisgarh undisputedly since last 5years. We have a uniquely designed marketing and operational manual for the franchisee. We have been approved by the FDA, Govt. of Chattisgarh in cleaning service category. We have expertise and experience in bagging large corporate and government orders. Ours is a system driven company.

SI:  How is the scope of cleaning industry in India?

MA: Cleaning Industry being a service based industry has wide scope in India as corporate and institutions have started outsourcing services even in tank cleaning. There is a wide gap between demand and supply. The potentiality is perpetual as cleaning caters to the basic and essential need of every human being.

SI: How many franchises and company outlets are there across India?

MA: After more than 5 years of practical experience and research, we have recently launched the franchising module and have five franchisee appointed viz.Nagpur, Indore, Bangalore, Chennai, Bhubaneswar and have our own four outlets in the state.

SI: Tell us about the franchising module of Fast Clean.

MA: The franchising module of FASTCLEAN is simple. The franchisee needs to bring an initial capital of around 3.5-5lacs which includes our license fee of 1.5lacs and rest is invested in equipments, mobile van and other accessories and expenses. All these exercises are done very professionally and is a time bound activity.

SI: Who are your competitors? What makes your franchisee more attractive to the end customers?

MA: Well, we don’t really face much problem as of now as, people do rely on manual cleaning in the absence of a professional cleaning service providers. Sometimes, we do come across local unorganized players in the market. The advantage with our franchisee is Brand Identification of FASTCLEAN associated with them, professional consultancy and support right from selecting the staff to training of technical and marketing guys, sourcing of the best equipments available in the world and assistance in getting large corporate orders.

SI: How long have you been in business? In franchising ? How does franchising fit in your overall business growth industry?

MA: I have more than 15years of entrepreneurial experience and exclusive experience in fastclean since more than 5years. We started the franchising module in the 3rd quarter of this year pan India. Franchising was the best way for us to expand our base throughout the country as its cost-effective works perfectly on knowledge sharing and wealth sharing basis and helps us get creative and enthusiastic entrepreneurs pan India. In fact, it’s a win-win situation for both of us.

SI: Do you think franchising has played an important role in the growth and success of FASTCLEAN as a brand ?

MA: Yes definitely. Today we are well placed in the key e-portals promoting franchising opportunity, print media and have received overwhelming response from Kashmir to Kanyakumari which is a testimony to the acceptability of this concept.

SI: What support system do you provide to the franchisees?

MA: We assist right from the word Go, from concept to conclusion including training of their technicians, marketing man in a uniquely designed marketing and operational manual made after our years of practical experience and research which we are proud of. They also get the benefit of the goodwill of our brand, procurement of equipments etc. Assistance in procuring large orders, comprehensive brand promotion and consistent updation of technologies and procedures are our other plus points franchisee can take advantage of.

SI: Tell us about your further expansion plans.

MA: We have already appointed 5 franchisees in the last 4 months, 5 more by the end of this year and have a mission to have minimum 300 franchisees within next 2-3 year reaching across every town and city of the country.

SI: How do your franchisees typically finance the startup costs? Do you as the franchisor offer financing?

MA: We don’t have any system of financing to any of our franchisee. The franchisee either go for a self-financing the startup cost or take loans from the bank.

SI:  What are the risks associated with this franchise? With this industry ?

MA: Well, we don’t see much risk involved with our concept. However, since ours is a man-cum-machine operated concept, one should be good at dealing with the human resource, be it the technicians or our client. We are a service based industry and hence, it is pertinent to have passion and continued enthusiasm to become successful in our business.

SI:  Tell us about your company's future plans.

MA: We are the largest in Central India and No.1 in Chhattisgarh state and we wish to be the most trusted and sought after brand in professional tank cleaning services company in India through a well designed media plan. We also have plans to offer allied services like mechanized office floor cleaning, hospitality management, chimney cleaning etc. Needless to say, the existing franchisee will get the advantage of all these plans that we would offer.
