But there is good news on the horizon, as now it appears Flash Video can be used on the iPad with a helping hand.

This helping had comes in the form of the jailbreak app named Frash. This app will allow play flash video on ipad. It appears this will work only on a jailbroken iPad.

“Frash is able to run almost all Flash programs natively in the MobileSafari browser,” said Comex, which also created the Spirit untethered jailbreak tool for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch,  in the description for the YouTube video created to show the hack in action.

Pocket Lint, the company added that support for other devices, except 3GS+ only due to technical restrictions, will come shortly. Support for iOS 4 is also planned.
