The All India Management Association (aima) is planning to hold a new online test in February next year to evaluate B-School students on their employability in line with the current industry trends.

This test will certify and check the students on their readiness and aptitude before they enter the corporate world.

The Management Aptitude and Skills Test (MAST) will address the employers' long-time grievance of poor employability of a large number of fresh management graduates.MAST will be held on 20 February, 2011 all over India. The MAST has benefits both for employers and students.The employers will have the opportunity to choose students with the right skill. It also makes the recruitment process cost effective and efficient.

The students will have a pan India exposure to the job market. It will also act as a level-playing field irrespective of geographical location or category of the B-School.
