The Education Promotion Society for India (EPSI) is organizing a Regional Roundtable of the Chairmen and Directors of PGDM Institutions of the country on May 5, 2011 in Pune.

Following will be the agenda to be discussed in the EPSI’s Regional Roundtable: How should PGDM institutes unite and strategize for the ensuing battle in Supreme Court?; What should be our key arguments before the apex court?; What should be the Vision for Indian Management Education by 2020?; How can PGDM institutes adopt a Voluntary Code of Conduct?.

The confirmed speakers for the Roundtable as on 1 May 2011: Dr PV Ramana, Chairman, ITM Business School; Mr Pramod Kumar, President, International School of Business & Media; Dr Apoorv Palkar, Director, Sinhgad Institute of Management & Computer Application; Mr Amit Agnihotri, Chairman, MBAUniverse.com; Mr Chetan Wakalkar, Group Director-IGI, Founder VP-SCES, Indira Group Institutes; Dr Pradeep Bhawdekar, Managing Director, MITCON Consultancy Services Ltd; Dr Nikhil Agarwal, Director, EABS.

The May 5 meeting will be preceded by a Special Session on Management Education organized by MBAUniverse.com & Harvard Business Publishing with Dr Srikant Datar, Faculty, and Harvard Business School & Author of ‘Rethinking the MBA’.

EPSI had held its previous meeting on 8 April 2011 in New Delhi. The meet called for PGDM institutions to remain united for the upcoming Supreme Court hearings. The institutions were told not to be complacent due to the interim stay granted on 17 March 2011 which has allowed these B-schools to smoothly conduct the admissions process for this year.
