National Education Summit India 2011: Dainik Bhaskar Group

Aiming to foster an in-depth discussion mapping the various aspects of imparting quality education to students of B-schools in India, Dainik Bhaskar Group is all set to organize another summit called the ‘National Education Summit India 2011’ after the huge success of its Power Vision Conclave 2011. The summit will be held on 11th June, 2011 at New Delhi. The chief guest of the summit will be Mr. Kapil Sibal, Union Minister, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. The National Government Vertical team at Dainik Bhaskar Group conceptualized the summit. Jaideep Dhagat, Senior General Manager and Business Head of Dainik Bhaskar Group states “The world we live in is changing at an enormous pace today. Education forms the rudimentary basis to provide for the skill and knowledge that students will need to shape the course of their future. The level of higher education in India needs a massive face-lift today as professional institutes are not able to deliver what they promise. With a bevy of second and third rung B-Schools coming up in urban and rural India, quality is often compromised for quantity. Dainik Bhaskar Group in its efforts to address this perennial issue on a national level is organizing this Summit. By virtue of this summit, Dainik Bhaskar Group aims to bridge the huge quality gap that prevails today in the quality of Management Education being imparted by the upcoming B-Schools in India.” Regarding the issues and challenges which is to be taken up in the summit, Mr. Jaideep Dhagat further adds, “National Education Summit 2011 is an ideal platform to discuss and learn about the challenges being faced by the upcoming B-Schools in India. These challenges range from the setting up of institutes to the overall delivery of the training and business education to students. The biggest challenge however, remains the standard and quality of education being imparted. There is a huge gap in the quality of education promised and the quality of education delivered. The agenda, set by high level panel at the advisory board meeting, will address the plethora of key issues being faced at various stages of delivery with a drill down of each aspect.” In this summit, there will be a series of functions that will enable market experts, delegates and attendees to make new contacts, share knowledge, intelligence with industry counterparts, consolidate existing relationships and develop new ones. The summit will start at 9:30 am sharp and will be wrapped up by 6 pm.
