Highest domestic CTC Rs 15 LPA, Overseas reached 26LPA@IMT

IMT Ghaziabad has announced a highly successful placements season for this year. With spirits high in the market and strong performance of the industry this year the students of IMT had many options to choose from.In the domestic arena, the highest CTC for the 2009–11 batch has been Rs. 15 lakhs per annum. The other major highlights of IMT’s 2011 placement are as follows:


Highest International CTC offered: Rs. 26 lakh per annum.


Highest Domestic CTC offered: Rs. 15 lakh per annum.Average CTC for the full time batch: Rs. 8.63 lakh per annum.Average CTC of the top 55 percentile IMT graduates: Rs. 9.50 lakh per annum. Prakash Pathak, Head-Placement, IMT Ghaziabad said, “This year we had best of the companies on our list. Of the recruiters 70% were repeat recruiters. IMT is a fertile ground for companies looking at employing serious talent that is job ready. Major recruiters this year included Goldman Sachs (India) Securities Pvt Ltd, consumer durable biggie Jumbo electronics, FMCG giant Procter & Gamble Ltd, Trident Group and many other conglomerates.” Successful selections and job offers for this batch of students came in from varied sectors, and the students were offered excellent profiles. Some of these sectors included: FMCGs, Consultancies, BFSI, Market Research, Manufacturing, Consumer Durables, Consulting, Pharmaceutical, IT & ITES, Oil & Gas, Services, Telecom, among others.


IMT students have been recruited for niche profiles such as Brand Managers, Software Delivery Managers, Analysts, Credit and Equity Analysts, Research Associates. Other successful appointments include Relationship Managers, Business Managers, Key Account Managers, along with rewarding positions in Consulting, Investment Banking and Advisory services, to name a few.


Gold medalist Deepika Jindal, who will be joining Procter & Gamble’s sales division, said, “P&G came to recruit at IMT for the first time and they picked up 5 people!  I was placed in my dream job even before the placement week started.”
Her salary stands at a cool Rs. 14 lakhs PA, which is thrice of what she made prior to her stint at IMT-G. “During my two years at IMT I really grew as a person. I was also the class representative that helped me in developing my leadership and team skills. I remember quoting most of my examples from my IMT days in the interview,” she quantifies as she delves into the reliving the whole interview experience
