The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) International has awarded Prof. S. Sriram, Executive Director of Great Lakes Institute of Management the 'Outstanding B-school Director for 2010'.

The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) International has awarded Prof. S. Sriram, Executive Director of Great Lakes Institute of Management the 'Outstanding B-school Director for 2010'. The award was presented at the 8th AIMS International Conference on Management held recently at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

Prof S. Sriram has more than two decades of experience in management education and consulting.  The Outstanding B-school Director's Award is considered the most prestigious among the AIMS awards and serves as a highlight the achievement and contribution of an individual in the field of management education in the country.

Commenting on this honour Prof. S. Sriram said, "I am delighted to receive this prestigious award from AIMS International. This is indeed a proud moment for all of us at Great Lakes Institute of Management, which will motivate us to reach newer heights of excellence in the field of management education."

Prof. S. Sriram is a corporate trainer and has completed extensive amount of consulting for companies in India and abroad over the past 20 years. In the areas of strategy, structure and systems for leading corporates such as Mafatlal, Bajaj Group, IDBI, Marico, Jyoti Structures , Herdillia Chemicals, Bhor Industries, STP, among others.

He has also researched in the area of "The international competitiveness of the Indian Industry" sponsored by ASSOCHAM and "Intellectual Property Rights and its impact on Pharmaceutical Industry" a study commissioned by Organization of Pharmaceutical Producers of India.
