As a precautionary step, Prometric would install only licensed versions of software tools. According to sources, it has been reported that investigating team had found out that the technical glitches that occurred during last year’s test were mainly because of unlicensed software and anti-virus tools. Several of them were past their expiry dates. This time team Prometric will make sure that only licensed versions of softwares and anti-virus programmes are used for the CAT 2010.
Prometric has prepared more than 240 labs in 78 test centres in 33 cities across the country. Over 9000 computers will be used to conduct CAT 2010.
