Creativity is a practice which is not inherited

Management Consultant

Many have doubts about fate and Destiny.

Fate is the one inherited and destiny is created. But now a days, it is the Astrologer who guides you in your destiny. I have a reasonable knowledge in astrology to understand its significance. Astrology is only guidance for you to be careful.

This point struck me deep in my heart when Manmohan Singh told LK Advani to change his astrologer. The last thing I ever expected of a leader, talented to rule the nation. Stories of the fall of many Kingdoms were account of blind belief in astrology & expectation of something which does not exist, for example expecting a lottery through astrological prediction.

I will be writing the significance of SANISWARA in business in another blog, which is one of the main reasons for complacent nature of Indians.

Significance of Edward de Bo

Significance of Edward de Bono teachings has lots of relevance in today’s context. Most of the Success link is provided in all religious philosophies. But we are not taught about the difference between intelligence and thinking explicitly.

TO: Desire- we know where we want to go.
LO: Looking around all direction (to choose our way to Millionaire)
PO: Possibility-creating multiple possibility.
SO: Narrowing down to one out come (-become Millionaire)
GO: Progressing forwards and upwards

“TEACH YOURSELF TO THINK”-The book written by Edward de Bono is a must in your library.

Edward de Bono became so dear to me when I read his book SIX THINKING HATS.
After that I have a collection of his books are highly significant in today’s context.
This book is about how the one’s perception should be justified before working on it.

SIX HATS, SIX COLORS

WHITE HAT: Facts and figures
RED HAT: Emotions and Feelings
BLACK HAT: The Logical Negative
YELLOW HAT: Positive Spectrum, what is realism?
GREEN HAT: Alternatives and more alternatives
BLUE HAT: Control of thinking- thinking about Thinking.

Do you find any relation with what I have mentioned in the earlier Blogs?

Think twice on all the above before you believe.

De Bono on 'Thinking'

“We need information but we also need thinking. Thinking is not just a matter of cleverness and difficult problems. Wisdom is even more important than cleverness. Traditional thinking puts all the emphasis on critical thinking, argument, analysis and logic. These are very important and I hope nothing I writes gives different impression.
But these are only a part of thinking and it is very dangerous to assume they are sufficient. In addition to critical thinking we need thinking that is constructive and creative. In addition to argument we need exploration of the subject. In addition to analysis we need the skills of design. In addition to logic we need perception.”

De Bono's famous random word output was little hard for me because of my limitation in proficiency in English. But that how I learned the interpretation of thoughts in Management through bench marking an article or thought that attracts my attention.

For me the father of Business management is Edward de Bono.
