New Long-Distance Hiking Trail

The new Lechweg north face jacket Trail in Tirol’s pristine Lechtal will officially open in June 2012. The 125 kilometer long trail is divided into 15 stages north face jackets for men. It starts at the river’s source near Lake Formarinsee and ends in the German Allgau. The trail winds its way past ibex colonies, through botanically unique pastures and across a spectacular 200-meter long suspension bridge before ending in Füssen north face summit series. Let the rhythm of nature take over and enjoy the peace and beauty of this pristine area! View from Baichlstein – a worthwhile side trip between Holzgau and Stanzach Hiking Tips Michael Kohler, head of the Lechtal Tourist Board, is happy to disclose his favorite hike, a short loop off the Lechtal trail. In the center of Vorderhornbach make a right and follow the signs to “Baichlstein”. The trail gently climbs 180 meters in altitude to the forested peak of Baichlstein (1264m) from where you enjoy magnificent views of the Lech River. This view is a popular postcard picture and well worth the detour! After a 45-minute walk you will meet the main trail again at Stanzach. Lechweg Trail Lodgings Hikers can choose from a great selection of hotels, guesthouses and private accommodations along the way. In addition to comfortable beds and good food, travelers can look forward to helpful information, luggage transfer and the occasional hikers’ meetup.
