Internet is redefining how we do business and rediscovering how we communicate and network with others.  MySpace, Facebook, Diggs, Twitter, Slideshare and Scribed to name a few are evolving peoples thinking.  Having said that, the power of the internet has encouraged people to invest time and resources to understand and explore additional revenue streams other than jobs.

Now any individual can make extra money with a few clicks. Having said that I am putting down online revenue streams that are available to all on the net.

1. Affiliate Marketing: This is about marketing others products using Facebook or your blog.  When people click on it and make a purchase, the principal vendors share a percentage of sales value. www.clickbank.com; www.linkshare.com, www.cj.com
2. Google Adsense:  This is allowing businesses to put advertisements on your blogs or web sites.  When people visit your site and or click on the advertisement you get paid.
3. Buy and Sell: www.EBay.com; www.alibaba.com
4. Consulting: Internet marketing consulting
5. Virtual Real Estate: You can buy, sell, and resell domain names.  www.godaddy.com
6. Web Hosting: You can host web sites of businesses or individual on the service provider and charge a fee for the process.
7. Website Design and themes: If you are a creative person, you can design web sites and themes by offering r services on the net.
8. Content Provider: Become a content provider for web sites, blogs, power point presentation and documents such as RFP’s agreements and others.   www.docstoc.com; www.slideshare.com.  Or write on behalf of others at a cost.
9. Membership Websites: Get paid by visiting sites that host advertisement.  And pay for visiting those advertisements.
10. eBooks: Create ebooks ( DIY or the skill you are master) and sell it online
11. Training: Sell online Video training, Webinar
12. Social Media Manager: Consult business on Social Media.
13. Services: Virtual Assistant or remote assistant. Enroll at freelance websites like vworker.com. elance.com,guru.com etc and take up freelance jobs 
14. Craigslist: www.craiglist.org it is the internet version of classified ads.
15. Forex Trading.  
16. ecommerce website: If you are a professional, create an ecommerce website and sell what you can.  You may also become affiliate or franchisee to some established businesses. 

The list can go on and will further grow, however the challenge is to build a system that can be automated and extends a steady stream of revenue. The explicitly reiterated statement for business of internet is “Work once and get paid, get paid and get paid”
