Apple Introduced The New iPad

March, 7, this is the another significant day of Apple in San Francisco because Apple unveiled the new iPad on the day. The new iPad is the latest generation of Apple’s popular Tablet device. And yes, it is called “the new iPad”, neither the rumored “iPad 3” nor “iPad HD”, and it seems strange these rumors are all wrong. But this is Apple’s style – nobody can know its ideal.

The new iPad features a Retina display with the mind-blowing resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and Apple claims“that is enough to call it a Retina Display”. That is because, whilst the iPhone is generally held at a distance of 10 inches, iPad is held at 15 inches, making noticing individual pixels almost impossible. It's not just a higher resolution though, the screen also boasts improved color saturation. No mater you are reading books, playing games, browsing web pages or watch movies on iPad, you will enjoy 44% greater color saturation on the new iPad. Moreover, the Retina display has over one million pixels than an HDTV!

The second new future of the new iPad is it comes with a new 5-megapixel iSight camera with autofocus and white balance, advanced optics with IR filter, face detection, and 1080p video recording. The new iSight camera is very similar to the version inside the iPhone 4S, but it has only 5-megapixle camera rather then 8-megapixle on the iPhone 4S. 1080p recording will also feature noise reduction and stabilization.

What I’m pleased is the the rumors were true and the new iPad will support 4G LTE and data speed will up to 21 Mbps on HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA at 42 Mbps. LTE partners include AT&T and Verizon in the United States and Rogers, Telus, and Bell in Canada. Due to differences in frequency bands, AT&T and Verizon support will require separate models. Then in the battery lift, the new iPad will support the same 10 hours on Wi-Fi or 9 hours on 4G LTE.

In the end, at the media event, Apple announced that the new iPad will be on sale on March 16 in 10 countries including US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. The new iPad has also the same white and black types and has 16 GB ($499), 32 GB ($599), and 64 GB ($699) for the WiFi version. 4G versions will be $629, $729 and $829.
