My Take on the Importance of Self-confidence
Self-confidence means the firm belief you can use things well. If you want to achieve doing anything, you must have every confidence within your abilities. Otherwise, you may hardly achieve anything. A number of people always complain about how difficult their tasks could well be and how incapable they are. Many of them refuse to have a try, and so have no opportunity to overcome difficulties to get themselves improved. Apparently, this shows their lack of self-confidence.
There are several reasons why people feel frustrated or discouraged in face of difficulties. First, they underestimate themselves. Second, they tend to overestimate the difficulties. Third, they're afraid of making mistakes or getting failures.
It is crucial for young people to build up self-confidence. For a proverb goes, ?¡ãConfidence in your own self is the first step on the road to success.?¡À We should make sufficient preparations and encourage ourselves before setting about doing anything to experience success, which may help us gain self-confidence. We've got to have a right attitude toward our abilities and should never look down upon ourselves.
