Xavier institute of management-A strong Foundation
Foundation:
Established in 1987, the Institute owes its origin to a Social Contract between the Government of Orissa and the Orissa Jesuit Society. The Institute is led by a Governing Board consisting of representatives from Orissa Jesuit Society, Government of India, and Government of Orissa, and invited industrialists and educationists.
Academic Programmes:
The academic programmes offered by XIMB are based on the standard model of management education practised globally.
Currently, XIMB offers the following diploma and certificate programmes, namely,

A Team of PGP second year students from XIMB claimed the 4th spot in the Rubicon International Business Case contest held in 2006, in Iserlohn, Germany. Incidentally, the team was the sole Asian finalist
