Engineering has thought me one basic rule in life!

"Know your strengths , what you are REALLY good at ! Jet set go towards it !! "

Coz.. In the midst of engineering I realised, engineering is not my cup of tea. A job in my hands in Tech Mahindra in 2008 , in midst of heavy reccession , I rejected the offer right in there , cause I knew it was not for me!.

My strength, hospitality industry ! It suddenly got clearer what I wanted to do. cleared CAT in 2009 , got into a college what I think is the best for me!! Proud of my decision , Got into SDMIMD, Mysore.

My strength ,Hospitality industry! I just knew this. Things just got aligned "magically'! H.N.Shrinvasan ,VP,HR, Taj hotels happened to visit our college at SDMIMD for a conference also for which I was the official volunteer . In just a minute of conversation with him I got an opportunity to do my summer intership @ Vivanta by Taj , Bangalore !! And.... I am writing this blog sitting right on my desk @ Vivanta by TAJ , the flagship hotel of Vivanta.

From Engineering to MBA to Hotels ! Its not a great achievement , when I see around , but , for me as A FIRST STEP INTO THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY, it is!!!!
