Sweet cure for diabetes

Retired from SBI now in Muscat
I have type 2 diabetes. My journey on this slippery track is on for 13 years. In this only life you have many things to do. Slips in taking medicine, regular check-ups, monitoring are all hence natural. Riding diabetes, you are riding a crazy horse. It shakes you off frequently. The rider is never sure when the next fall is. Some time someone will give you a confusing suggestion like "Why don't you be on insulin". You get reminded once in a while by the disease and people around that diabetes is a killer. You are a hapless fly caught in the cobweb. You have no escape. You have only one way - you ultimately resign to your fate.

Dr.Prasad's observations are opening up a new path:

Your sugar levels vary, your food vary, but the dosage of your medicines is not changed correspondingly.
You take a large meal in the noon but there is no medicine before this meal.
Any organ will degenerate by disuse. You take insulin and discard your pancreas to degenerate further.
Is there any hope that the disease will ever be cured, you only find the dosage increasing.

Dr.Prasad's method is an attempt to rejuvenate pancreas by regulating medicines, by systematic and non-strenuous exercises and most interestingly stimulating pancreas by intake of sweets. He promises gradual withdrawal of medicines and total cure.
On the 13th March I travelled from Trivandrum to attend a camp by Dr.Prasad on the 14th at Tirur. My brother , also diabetic, joined me from Coimbatore. Doctors are always busy. They look at the lab report and dispose us quickly. But Dr.Prasad spend 3 hours creating the right kind of awareness and demonstrated a schedule of exercise that we should follow. It was the first time I heard about GLP-I. The doctor's logic appealed as perfect to us and thus we continued our journey. By 8 O'clock next morning, we were there at his clinic at the salubrious Vayanadu.
Dr.Prasad's treatment method has kicked off a storm of protest and disbelief. But he is very confident and a fraternity who have benefited, the 'Friends of diabetes' is firmly behind him.
The proof of the pudding is in eating - Now we are in Muscat and we are going ahead with the treatment prescribed by Dr.Prasad. We hope to get well soon.
