Hard Times, Better Step In Two boats!!

Sales Manager
Hard Times, Global financial crisis and recession. Sure sounds like bad times! Agreed people are getting fired. Agreed the bigger companies are outsourcing to save their necks rather than thinking about the bigger picture. Agreed the jobs are scarce. But hey, why are we worried? The answer is simple, if you rattle the roots, the leaves will fall. But is it the only way we should take it? All these hard times do not reduce our monthly expenditure. Well yeah we can think of cutting down the extras, but is that what we really want to do? No, at least i dont! Here is what i have been doing, when you struggle rememeber the a b c... What about good old freelancing??

Heres the deal, i work 5 days a week make an average income. Its good, could be better. Rest of the 2 days i work 3 hours a day. From home. As a freelancer. The money that i make from that work is not good enough to swap with my full time job but i know after an year of doing so ill have enough money to buy a reputable car! God forbid, if times are still bad it will help me change professions, or help out with family extras for a year!

Remember when parents used to say, "if you try to step in two boats, you get to sail none!"

Well, here is the answer to that, how bout sailing in one and pulling one along for times of storm or misfortune! True you are stretching youself, working bit harder than you'd rather do, but it will pay! Its your money! Your bank account! You will use it ! When everyone else is realising that they should have had a side income or saving!

So yeah guys, working weekends is not bad, working two jobs is even better! Specially now when negative seems to comfort people!

Cheers!
