SYMPTOMS: The symptom's of this disease are Wernick korsakoff state, which is characterized by loss of redentive memory (cannot remember just occured things),Visuouspatial reorientation state which is characterized by inability to interpret a road map or direct a way, dressing sense loss, Dysonomia, which is characterized by the inability to remember names and words, Paranoia,which is characterized by confusion, tension and depression, Giat Disorder,which is characterized by loss of balance and short stepped movements.

CAUSES AND TREATMENT: Alzheimer's Disease is caused by defect in gene present in chromosome no.19. This produces hallmarks called tangles and plaques.These can be visualised by MRI scan.The disease cannot be completely cured. However anti-depressants like cogner, aricept,paxil, zoloft and prozac are used to decrease the severity of symptoms.
