Career Guidance Cell (CGC)

SBS has a placement cell that is termed as Career Guidance Cell. Unlike other management institutes, the CGC not only helps in arranging off and on campus interviews and placements but also assists its budding management graduates in investigating their career choices based on their skill set, industry preferences, personal likes/dislikes, etc.

The CGC prepares the students in how to face the interview. Several mock interview sessions are conducted to coach the student on communication techniques, importance of body language, and commonly asked campus interview questions.

SBS organises campus placement and its students are also invited to other campuses where companies come for recruitment. Its students are also invited directly for company interview.

Companies Recruiting at SBS

The Companies that have recruited the PGPM students of SBS in the last two years come from a mix of sectors. While most entry level jobs these days are coming from the services sector such as Banking, Insurance, Telecom, and Retail but at SBS there are companies from manufacturing, textiles, and pharmaceuticals as well. There is a balance of industry verticals to choose from based on the students specialisation and interests.
