Indian Govenrment's ignorance of NRIs
Several ministers,MPs have visited saudi arabia and have had talks with their counter parts but unfortunate none of them have discussed the issues and probles that the NRIs are facing in the hands of so called sponsors(A draconian word).
The phillipines Govenrment has forced the saudi Govenemnt to sign labour agreement to protect their cicitzens but we though the largest democracy on this planet earth, have shown the "attitude of DOG to it's master".
This unfortunate and a shame on the nation itself.
There are 1.6m Indians in Saudi Arabia and most of them are in blue coloured job.
The embassy of India has no power to take up the issues to the authority directly except through the ministry of fareign affairs, which never reply to the Embassy's letters.
If the Governemnt of India cannot take up the issues of it's citizens then why it is there?
I am hopeful that the elite class and the legal community of India will take up this issue to the parlaimanet and to the SC.
Thank you
