World-famous fashion designer Christian Audigier and celebrity dentist Dr. Eric Fugier are developing a merchandising line that includes dental products. According to a press release, fashion designers Audigier says that “Your smile should be as glamorous as your outfit, that’s why Eric Fugier and I are offering a line of high-fashion toothbrushes, dental floss, mouthwash and other dental products.”

The Ed Hardy brand is known worldwide for its impact on fashion design, tattoo art, jeans, jewelry, skateboards, and even air fresheners. Fugier is excited to offer his clientele, which includes some of the biggest names in Hollywood, a line of dental products carrying Audigier’s Ed Hardy Brand. Beverly Hills Dentist says that followers of the brand also include David Beckham, Madonna, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson among many others.

Besides the fact that you will be brushing and flossing in style, the duo are optimistic that the addition of “flair” to the dental office will lessen the anxiety some patients experience during dental procedures. According to Los Angeles dentist, an estimated 75% of adult Americans have mild to severe dental anxiety.

Orange County Dentist is concerned whether this innovative designer trend will catch on, especially during the current economic meltdown. Dr. Fugier is optimistic, stating “Only the highest-quality products have the privilege of carrying the globally recognized Ed Hardy Brand. People will know when they see the Ed Hardy logo that they are getting the finest dental products available” said Fugier.
