Software: TuneUp 2012 offering to extended laptop battery life

TuneUp Utilities is promising to give Windows PCs and laptops a performance boost with its 2012 software release.

The Economy Mode aims to increase Canon mv750i Battery life by up to 30 per cent, giving laptop users the option of staying online for longer when out of the house.

As for home desktop systems, TuneUp has introduced Program Deactivator, a new automated start-stop feature which reduces the burden placed on the processor by unused programs.

The release also includes 1-Click Maintenance, which allows for swift clean-ups of unneeded data and hard disk defragmentation.

Christoph Laumann, managing director of TuneUp Utilities, said that the company listened carefully to customer feedback and found that Fujifilm Finepix j10 Battery life was a major bugbear for laptop users.

He continued: "The challenge for us is to find a way to put the suggestions we receive to the best possible use.

"However, with TuneUp Utilities 2012, and its new features, we're really confident that we've succeeded in meeting people's expectations."
