AIEEE Result 2012 will declare on 1st June

The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), is an examination organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India. This national level competitive test is for admission to various under-graduates engineering and architecture courses in institutes accepting the AIEEE score, including 5 Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs) and 30 National Institutes of Technology (NITs). The examination is generally held on the last Sunday of April and results are announced in the last week of May or the first week of June. Candidates are ranked on an all-India basis and state basis. Thus, they have an All India Rank (AIR) and a State Rank (SR).

AIEEE Results 2012 will be declared on June 1 (Friday), ending the anxious wait by over 11 lakh students who took the prestigious exam this year. 
The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is conducted for admissions into the National Institute of Technology (NITs). 
Besides NITs, admission to IIITs, Technical Institutions, Delhi Technological University and other Govt. funded Institutions are offered through this examination. 

This year AIEEE was conducted both online and offline by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The exam was held on April 29 and the online exams were held on May 7, 12, 19 and 26. 

The AIEEE Exam is conducted to admit students to some of the top institutions in the country like IIT’s, NIT’s and other state level engineering colleges. The entrance in to these colleges purely depends in the rank secured by the participant in the AIEEE exam. The students who have secured high score will get an admission call from most of the renowned colleges in India.

The Eligibility Criteria required to apply for the All India Engineering Entrance Exam is a pass in the intermediate exam in Science stream from a recognized institute. It is compulsory that the students should have studied PCM in the 10+2 exam. Aspirants who have secured 50% in the qualifying exam are eligible for the entrance test. The percentage requirement is only 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
