DU Community Radio:
The community radio of the university is being used effectively this year to answer the queries of aspirants and parents alike. All that the students need to do is to direct their questions to DU’s community radio. The volunteers from the community radio are available on the campus to take questions from the aspirants. The queries then reach the experts who answer them on the radio portal.
Student help desks:
On its part, DU has deployed a large number of student volunteers at help desks for the convenience of confused applicants. “The student help desks have proven to be helpful,” says Varsha Singhal, a DU aspirant from Chandigarh.
Student volunteers have claimed that most of the queries have centred around how to pursue the most sought after courses, such as B Com Hons, irrespective of the applicant’s marks. The help desks will be seen on the days of the declaration of the cut-off lists too. Special help desks for students from the North East have also been set.
