It is aimed at learning measures to improve distance mode education quality. The conference will mainly focus on technology adoption, community development, ethical issues, collaborative system, political and legal environment, best practices and skill development during the three-day event. Experts from across India and overseas are expected to participate, KSOU V-C K S Rangappa told reporters on Wednesday.

The conference will bring together administrators, academicians, policy makers and researchers on a platform. KSOU is expecting a minimum of 500 delegates.

IGNOU VC V N Rajshekharan Pillai will inaugurate the event, while governor H R Bhardwaj will preside over the conference. Commonwealth of learning, Canada, president John Daniel will deliver key note address.

Meanwhile, KSOUs online MBA program will commence from next month. Depending upon its success, the KSOU will offer other courses through online, the VC stated. To a query, Rangaappa claimed KSOU is ready to facilitate social projects provided people in the field approach them.
