The future of 109 students of MBA distance education is hanging in balance because of the flip-flop of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University (SGBA). Students have access to the belief that the course is approved by All India Council of technical education (AICTE), only to realize later that the title should be given SGBA that, they think, not a lot of weightage.

Product of the Spirit, then vice-chancellor Dr Kamal Singh of the Institute of Distance Education, Amravati started the course in 2010, and the access students have been told that the AICTE approved MBA course. It was said that their review should be conducted on a regular basis for students and research centers were Brijlal Biyani College, Amravati, MES Arts and Commerce College, Mehekar in Buldhana and SSSKR Indan College Karanja Lad. Students were also promised that the course will be uniform. All 109 students, then be deposited at the University of Rs 10 000.

These students have found something suspicious in their exams in the first half was not carried out full-time equivalent MBA in December 2010.

When they came to college, they said he could not perform this check with the regular students because of technical problems. As they continued, the university decided to conduct tests of the first and second half of 2011, when the summer time.

When students appeared for the first half year, has obtained provisional admission and not "M" card. It was expected that after the approach of the university. Students could not give much time to study that reviews the second half took place within eight days. 22 students passed the first half.

However, the university closed study centers for distance education. When they came to college, decided to absorb the regular courses in MBA third semester of a letter that was given on September 10 SIPN College of Engineering. The problems began for distance education students as they were required to attend school regularly and pay a tax of Rs 69 000 per year for the entire course. Like most of the work of students who took an objection and told the university authorities were unable to attend regular classes and pay a hefty fee. The university has started a counseling center and organizes courses on Sundays. Students who could not get enough time to study the report in the facility is permitted to review the second half as a special case.

Dr Mohan Khedkar, who took the VC Kamal Singh has stopped admissions fees during 2011-12, after learning the flip-flop.

Moin Deshmukh, a student, told TOI that "the title is not approved by AICTE is of no use for them." It started as a distance learning course that later became a full-time only turned to the old system. This is confusing, "he said.

Ashwini Rath, said "We have been told that a certain type Amravati University is given, but the word" Remote Mode "on it. What is the value of this degree," he said.

Another student Pooja Damman said he had already done MBA, an independent college. "I was told that the course had the approval of AICTE.'s Why I took the entrance. But after a year, does not have AICTE approval. I have two years after the waste," he said.

Anjali Jadhav said, "I had made the admission because it suited me, I work as a woman. However, it is not possible for me to attend classes regularly."

Director of the Institute of Distance Education, Amravati Gajanan Gulhane, who recently took over, said that when the course began it was not approved by AICTE but by DEC (Distance Education Council).

Khedkar Vice-Chancellor acknowledged that some mistakes were made by the university in implementing this course, but denied a flip-flop. He said he was and is a distance learning course. He has never become a full time course. Khedkar said "We decided to absorb the normal MBA students led by SGAU. Where does the problem arises AICTE approved MBA course in charge of our university received approval. Now let's run this course as an order of the university regular MBA "he said. He made no comment when asked when would be the start of classes.

SGAU Registrar Dineshkumar Joshi initially refused to comment on the issue that falls under the jurisdiction of the VC. He later told the VC that the issue had been resolved and there was no confusion, as students in regular university courses. Despite assurances, confusion continued among students.
