Sr. SEO Executive
The Indian Institute of ManagementCalcutta(IIM-C) said it has set up a centre for management case studies.

The Case Research Centre of IIM Calcutta will be inaugurated with a two-day workshop on case writing, teaching and research beginning on Thursday.

According to a press note, the maiden workshop will be conducted by Mr Jorgen van den Berg, the Manager of the Center for Business Case Studies of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Ms Anjali Raina, Executive Director of the Harvard Business School India Research Center and Prof Jim Erskine, Emiritus Professor of Operations Management at Richard Ivey School of Business in Canada.

The centre is to facilitate faculty members of the institute to focus more on Indian businesses now. So far case studies were drawn from Harvard Business School as pedagogy in post graduate and management programmes at the IIM Kolkata. The centre would now build a repository of studies of local corporates, authored primarily by the institute’s faculty.
