IIM Kozhikode has decided to withdraw from registration fees for the top post-graduate program (PGP), the RS 30 000 to protect students from inflationary pressures in the economy. "Over the last two years of student loans has risen 2-4 percent annually in putting additional burdens on the students. A small decrease of Rs 30,000 (3% fee) will be implemented 2012-13 onwards when the proactive step to support higher education, "said Debashis Chatterjee, Director, IIM Kozhikode. The Institute has also announced new scholarships.

Leadership Conference Soil (School ofInspired Leadership), a unit of growing Talent Co Ltd, hosted the annual Leadership Conference Inspired November 4 and 5. The third edition of the conference was woven around the theme - "The importance of inspired leadership at work," noting the views of the pillars of the industry. Higher Education ITM University, Gurgaon, welcomed a delegation from the Foundation United States andIndia for Education (USIEF) on November 4. As part of the delegation, speaking representatives from 28 American universities, students at the University of ITM, the topic of discussion was "Scope of higher education in America. "ITM University provided that representatives of universitiesU.S. a forum to interact directly with students on the basis of the fact that there is a large contingent of students interested in American higher education. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai, won the grand finale of the fifth edition of the Sweden-India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2011 held at IIT Delhi, the player's finalists Bangalore, Delhi,  Chennai and Pune to become title holders and travel to claim a week in Sweden. A team of three, with Aviral Bhatnagar, Pranav Shetty and Abhishek Padmanabhan won the grand final.
