No takers for OBC seats in Delhi University after 8th offcutlist

At the end of the first day of revenue based on eighth-off list of Delhi University to admit students to share bed OBC vacancies for UG courses, colleges say the influx has been little and reserved seats remain vacant, even if a list is released ninth.

At Indraprastha College for Women, no admission took place on Wednesday, leaving about 90 remaining positions of the OBC quota, said Dr. Nalini Deka, admission to the host university.

"Seven or eight students came, but none of them met the eligibility criteria for additional courses, which have remained the same, although the cut-off fell. I do not expect the list seats even after the ninth, because very few students are coming, and withdrawals are executed in parallel, "he said.

College withdrew eight cuts list to 12 topics, including the B.Com Honours, economics and computer specialist honors.

"Many students may have already taken admission elsewhere and settled now, it is likely that the list the ninth for these courses," said Dr. Anju Srivastava, media coordinator of the university.
