Students look to foreign coast for opportunities
"India is facing a tsunami of young students to pursue higher education. If we do not reach the goal of educating our country is facing a disaster," said Dr. N. Prabhu Dev, president of the University of Bangalore on Tuesday. He stressed that the world has become one big village because of globalization, Professor H Maheshappa, Vice Chancellor of the Visveswarya Technological University, said: "We need to encourage activities such as student exchange programs and research so that the dual students will benefit. "
"We are here to look at the opportunity to pursue higher education abroad. The summit will give us an idea of the courses, fee structure, etc.," said Monali Dey Mowpritha and Deore, Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain college students.
