Election season kickstarts in DU, final list of candidates released
University of Elections office released the final list of candidates, and all major political groups campaign for their candidate a competitive panel of the office of President, Vice President, Secretary and Joint-Secretary of the Delhi University Student Union (DUSU).
After withdrawals and disqualifications, only 14 of the 77 students who had submitted nominations for the office of President has remained in the final list of candidates. Nine of the 60 students who had submitted nominations for the Vice President are in the final list. Ten students will be competition for the post of secretary and eight for the post of assistant secretary.
Neha Singh, a Buddhist teacher of the presidential candidate for the ABVP Studies students, who won elections last year DUSU. The organization is fighting this election against the lifting of the twin problems of corruption and the need for several schools in the UA, from the introduction of the universities in the afternoon at North Campus existing schools.

National Students Union of India (NSUI), the key player, published a letter while demanding the establishment of a center "for the development of entrepreneurship at the University of officials including the University Committee DUSU harassment sexual. Chikka Ajay, a senior at the School of Law is a candidate for president of NSUI.
Students Federation of India (SFI) and All India Federation students are fighting the election with Guliyan Soumya, a graduate student in sociology at Miranda House College as its presidential candidate. Amit Srivastava, a graduate student in political science is all India Students Association (AISA) candidate for president.
