CAT and mouse tension rattles students in Gujarat
"I was very upset because the registration of the test was started only ten days ago," said Archana Tulsani a student of the city. "So I decided to Mumbai as my test center. But at night, I learned that the problem had been resolved and I hastened to change test center in Ahmedabad."
A faculty of IIM Calcutta and host of the CAT 2011, Janakiraman Moorthy said: "We had to deal with this problem in the morning and immediately began to resolve." He said the number of places is limited and had become complete. "We have increased capacity and there is no problem," he said, but declined to disclose figures.
Then there were three testing centers for the CAT in the state until last year, there is only one year LJ Institute of Management. Around 7000 students appeared in CAT last year in Gujarat. There were many candidates of Jaipur, Udaipur and Indore to Ahmedabad to take the test.
