BP Ed, DP Ed, LT and distance education candidates are among the petitioners. Similarly, some writ petitions have also been filed for inclusion of Sanskrit as language in second paper of the test alongwith Urdu and English. The judgement will be delivered on November 11.
The BTC candidates took the ground that first batch of the said training has already been given appointment and has also joined, whereas the petitioners, instead of being given appointment, are being compelled to appear in UPTET- 2011. tnn Similar plea has been taken by the candidates of special BTC 2007 and 2008.
In addition, the candidates having obtained the degree of Physical Education through distance mode have contended that their course is duly recognized by the NCTE and therefore they should also be given opportunity to appear in UPTET- 2011.
