The test of suitability cum national input (UG-AS) for the admission of students to degree programs in 335 medical schools in the country is scheduled to be held on May 13 next year, MCI said today as the nod of the Ministry of Health in this context is expected.

The Council may also download the curriculum which will be based on the AS-UG, and students can download on the site.

Meanwhile, an element of uncertainty following the review with the Ministry of Health with regard to notification of NEET is still pending.

MCI said today was a crucial time for the performance of the test.

"We are ready and so is the CBSE. We are waiting for the Department to notify the same. We hope that this would be done soon," said officials of MCI.
