editricon Effects Of Mobile Waves

The use of mobile phone is increasing at very high rate. The younger generation is using cell phone too much in compare to last 4-5 years. Many foreign companies are also coming in India like we have seen Maxx, Fly etc. Which are providing cell phones on very less price and with the features of best mobiles in the Nokia. So we should think how it be possible that one company is charging so much amount of money in compare to other. On what factors those cheap mobile are lacking. I will present one of the factors Specific Absorption Rate (SAR).

As, India’s population of mobile users is increasing very fast. And this is increasing by availability of very cheap mobiles in India. So India should take care about this population. As we all know that the radio waves cause the cancer. In the past all studies rejected this but, in 2009 Swedish report said that radio waves cause the cancer. The cancer will start to develop if any person use the phone more than 10 years and this is more harmful in the case of adult less than 20 year age. Therefore, government on 1 September reduces the Specific Absorption Rate. So it’s now less harmful to use mobile phone.

The SAR value previously in effect was 2 watts per kilogram averaged over a volume of 10 gram of tissue. But government changed SAR limit of 1.6 watts per kilogram averaged over a volume of 1 gram of tissue for the head.

Government had taken step to protect people from radio waves but long way to go as proper check should be there because lot of mobile companies are coming in the Indian market.
