Jason Statham’s Another Action Movie This Year “Killer Elite”
You may think if a movie has one famous Hollywood star, then we have enough reason to spend dozens of our money to sit in cinema to enjoy it, but what if there are three actors that you fancy a lot appear in the same film? Excited? Well then, you can’t miss “Killer Elite”, starred by Jason Statham, Robert De Niro and Clive Owen, attractive enough, right? It’s pretty worth to share with your friends, so upload it to your iPhone with the help of dvd burner, that’s the way you can enjoy it anytime.
Jason Statham will star in the action thriller based on Ranulph Fiennes' best-seller "The Feathermen." Based on real events, the story follows a group of former British special forces members who are being hunted by assassins. Statham will play a former Navy Seal who is forced out of retirement to save his mentor and closest friend. Covering the globe from Australia to Paris, London and the Middle East, Danny and Hunter are plunged into a highly dangerous game of cat and mouse - where the predators become the prey.
Whether executing masterful assassin?ations, leaping out of explosions or hurl?ing himself through a second-floor window while tied to a chair, Statham, the world’s premiere action star, is in top form in Killer Elite. Owen, his rugged handsomeness accentuated by one badass moustache, brings sophistication to this complex man burdened with grave duties and clearly in way over his head. De Niro, meanwhile, proves once more that investing a character with carefully chosen details will enhance the impact of whatever sort of film — even one galloping along on pure adrenaline.
"May the best man live" is the cheery tagline for this hitman faceoff with Jason Statham, Robert De Niro and Clive Owen. A tasty trio, but there's something vanilla about this one-last-job saga in which the slaphead superstar must slice and dice ex-SAS geezers lest De Niro get decapitated by a vengeful sheikh, all the while eluding Owen, who's been commissioned by a coterie of cackling bankers. Maybe it's all the detail that bogs it down: the ancient war crimes and the 80s stylings, the A-list support and the weirdly complex plot. They're a distraction from the main event: a bald man beating people up. Keep it simple. Keep it Stath.
It's a film version of one of those airport novels that get taken on holiday and thrown away on the way home to avoid going over your baggage allowance, but still, it has a film version, so you don’t need to worry about your baggage allowance, just enjoy it in your iPhone or other portable devices, if you are Apple user, you can copy dvd to mac, more convenient, right? Plus, it's a real pleasure to watch Statham in a film that doesn't require him to explode every five minutes and I enjoyed the plot simply because it isn't a generic good-guy-kills-bad-guys-whoops-something's-blown-up drearathon. Isn't Statham allowed to have more of a dramatic range than popcorn movies such as Crank and Transporter? Alright, he's still playing essentially the same character he always does but that didn't do Michael Caine's career much harm, did it?
