Samsung Suffered a Temporary Setback in Australia
Here is the story, Apple claimed that the Tablet PC Android of U.S. version violated 10 patents of company. While the lawyers from Samsung argued the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Tablet PC sold in Australia wasn’t same with American version, so Apple should not prosecute the patent issues of Australian version according to American version, by mutual agreement, the Samsung agreed to send this product to Apple to confirm whether it infringed the patent of Apple or not at least 7 days before releasing it. But Samsung denied the suspension of Samsung Galaxy Tab’s releasing in Australia and announced they would release it as the original plan. According to the news that Ausdroid got from Samsung, the agreement that reached between Samsung and Apple was only for American version which had patent dispute, and Australian version was not same as American version, thus avoiding the problem of paten infringing.
And the fight between them will never stop. Apple will not hold back, so is Samsung, the lawsuit is still unsolved. It will take time to resolve Apple’s initial lawsuit against Samsung, so with the additional delay of the injunction it is even more likely that Samsung will never sell the Galaxy tablet in Australia. Even Australian market isn’t particularly large, but Apple still wants it, Apple almost have dominated the tablet market of the whole world, it has earned enough money, and we all know how significant influence it has made to the world, see those manufactures that produce deuterogenic productions of Apple, like dvd ripper for mac , you have to admit that the reason why they are created and have survived is Apple, so it is obvious that who has advantages of this lawsuit?
But will Samsung give up? Of course not. Samsung issued a statement of disappointment regarding the injunction. The company’s next steps are either to appeal the ban or pursue a quick final ruling on the entire matter. Samsung claims to need more time to prepare its defense. They don’t want to rush to the final ruling with inadequate preparation and lose. This means that they will have to sit out Christmas gift-giving season in Australia. Australia isn’t the only theater of battle. Since the legal conflict started last April, it has spread to 10 countries, with lawsuits involving tablets and smartphones. Apple succeeded in blocking Samsung from selling the Galaxy tablet in Germany, and also won a case in the Netherlands that lead Samsung to rework some smartphone models, we have talked about it before. Next the patent war moves to California. It’s never gonna to end.
Not just Tablet, the other productions of Apple have distinct advantages compared to other competitors, like Mac, it is the most popular PC in the world, and even related gadgets like copy dvd software for mac also has a great market value, so who ever want to compete with Apple, whether the Tablet or smartphone or PC, they all have to prepare to get a unsatisfied fate, just like HP Tablet.
