Adobe announced in company's blog that it has launched iPhone and iPad generic "Adobe Reader for iOS" software. This application allows users view PDF files from e-mail, web site or any support iOS system "open house" function application.The software supports PDF files, password-protected PDF files and Adobe rights management life-cycle of a PDF file.

The application supports many interactive features. Users can search for text, bookmark pages, select view mode to scroll through the pages, zoom in and zoom text size, select the file from view and copy the text. Files can be printed directly from iOS devices, and share with other applications including PDF functions or sent as an email attachment.

Adobe Reader software is free. The application software compatible with iPad, iPhone 3GS and later versions of iPhone, the third generation and later iPod Touch. The software can run iOS 4.2.5 or running on the device.
