Fixing Retirement age in Politics

Hieee Folks,

I am bringing a topic before you to share my views and elicit your views as well...

I have chosen Fixing Retirement age in Politics:

well we know thr is a retirement age for every industry now a days...be it Government/ Private, Public/Private sector...while the normal retirement age is 60 yrs for state/central employees it is 65 for Judiciary. Performance of an human being diminishes by age...ths is an universal phenomenon which is accepted world wide...

Now I wonder, hw come thr is one area wch remains untouched with regards to fixing retirement age...I am speaking about Politics especially Indian Politics and Indian politicians in general. While in many other countries there is no concept as to retirement but they have some stipulation on terms...it is two terms for elected representatives, two terms for President as well as Prime Minister and there are opportunities like it is either two terms or the age is fixed at 60 so wchever happens first...

But when we consider Indian politics or the indian politicians we seldom see ths rule .....

"A rule is a rule even for a fool"

So for indian politicians it goes without saying...

We have few distinguished politicians who take 30 minutes to put 13 steps, who sleep while speaking and most of them are bestowed with Royal diseases (Heart, kidney liver ailments){i don see their brains being affected for it is proved they don have brains} and still they love to b in the centre stage of attention

It seems the basic requisite to enter Indian politics is you should be old (atleast 50 yrs ...and more preferred if u r above 60yrs) but nowadays new era has dawned where in young blood is entering politics...with respect to these politicians, 'coz of their old age, they themselves will be suffering, thy make us also sufffer nd 'coz of them v r not able to represent India in its true colors...

they do not attend the sessions regurlarly, with old age thy get a gift (free treatment for Royal diseases at the cost of common man)even if they attend most of the time they will b in deep penance with their eyes closed...now i am able to figure out when a session is going on why these representatives bang the table ( it is not to voice their protest but to wake their colleagues who are in deep slumber)

So the need of the day is to fix a retirement age in Politics may it be fixed to 60 years or let us stipulate two terms for every one...(who is in politics) thn thr will be more opportunities for young blood otherwise these old garbage cannot be moved out...Coupled with ths if we make graduation compulsory to enter politics (also share your views on this topic) thn major chunk of them can be rooted out and that would be the right time to herald a new era in Indian Politics...

Regards,

Aakaash.
