Plant a Tree and Go Green

Project Coordinator
World Environment Day is on 5th June, 2011 and Almightree is aiming to plant 100,000 trees.

Almightree Eco-Initiatives is a tree planting organization that is committed to creating a greener environment.  As part of the World Environment Day 2011, Almightree is conducting a nationwide campaign to plant 100,000 trees.

Almightree volunteers will be visiting various malls, educational institutions and tech parks from June 1 to June 5 to create awareness about tree planting amongst the younger generation.  People can register their support to the campaign by paying Rs. 99 per tree.  Almightree will plant and maintain trees for 5 years.

In Bangalore, tree planting will happen on June 5th on Kanakpura Road, Mysore Road and Chikkaballapur.  People can volunteer for the tree planting activity.  Every tree planted can be tracked by GPS on www.almightree.com by a tree number.  Corporates, land developers and other institutions can invite us to plant trees on their site.

Corporate houses can support by:

  • Planting a tree per employee as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.
  • Donate seeds/saplings for planting.
  • Inviting our volunteers to spread awareness to employees on the campus, about tree planting, backyard gardens, organic farming etc.
  • Honoring clients, associates, Star performers and achieving mile stones by dedicating a tree.
  • Planting a tree for the employees on their birthdays, weddings, new born, anniversaries and other special occasions.
  • Corporates, land developers and other institutions can invite us to plant trees on their site.
