Changing
There were several locations that were exploited. And shifting and changing almost clandestinely in order not to expose the face of prosthetic proportions. I think we succeeded. But what a bother to hide for fear of someone that shall let out the look of the character. I sometimes wonder whether those that pursue the desire to give out the look of a film, ever wonder that we are desperately trying to keep this confidential and private till the release. For us the release of the face is detrimental to our business and our film. For them it is a moment of great conquest when they will be able to release the visual. When will they understand that what may be a triumph for them, is really a curse for us. Would the media ever stop to wonder at the ethics of the moment. For them its a race to see how deep they can impinge their dagger into us. For us its the value of our commerce that we protect. Can not the media understand this and keep away ?
By and large I think we got what we wanted, through the very kind offices of the Delhi Metro authorities. Yes that is where we were most of the day. And I have to say this. What an incredible system the establishment has put up. The stations, platforms, the approach and construction, the trains themselves neat and clean and efficient. Felt good.
But felt extremely good about the fact that I have never ever received this amount of comments from EF during my entire life with the blog. Thank you dear EF’s. Your generosity with the words and expressions you used, the conviction that you expressed and the support that you gave was historic. This does not by any means take away anything from those that opposed the motion. Contrary to belief some of the arguments given were most intelligent and one that could very well have turned the tide for me.
My despair though has been that I am unable to personally respond to the EF with the same amount of emotion that they wrote it with. But time and prosthetics willing, one day I shall.
Hey… and forgot to mention that the morning in the house was somewhat adventurous. Stepped out of bed and into a pool of water all over the entire room. The rain had made one of the walls a little too enthusiastic in welcoming us and decided to leak all that pouring outside right into our bedroom.
But plumbing, cleaning and many officious dialogues later, when the ‘hurly burly’ was done, when the plastic blocking the pipes was done, when the night was cold and summertime not too easily done, I decided not to take any chance at all - I slept in my swimming costume !! You know… you never know !!
Early morning again.. and the FACE again..
