ALUMNI SPEAK ABOUT THEIR SUCCESS

ALUMNI SPEAK

INMANTEC is the first foundation stone of my career. I believe that there are key factors which are to be taken into consideration for making one's self determination, self motivation, skill set, opportunities etc. The most of these were inculcated into me through my association with INMANTEC as a management student. At INMANTEC, I learnt how to identify sources of stress and developing strategies for dealing with them.

It is always heard that “College years are the best years” , but this is not true. The fact remains the more opportunities one explores during the college days, the more openings doorstep, which I realised the most at INMANTEC. INMANTEC best academic courses but a lot of fair exposures of the Corporate World various activities like, Industrial Visits, Guest Lectures, Practical Industrial Training, International Conference and various other Seminars and Workshops.

My ultimate learning at INMANTEC is “Have fun, even play it safe, but still challenge yourself”. If explores new academic and extracurricular opportunities, one can have a great time and satisfaction of knowing that he/she never wasted any time at INMANTEC.

I was asked CRD – Head, to say few words about INMANTEC to be published in our placement brochure this year. Being 2005 pass out, I tried to recollect my golden collections INMANTEC and finally ended up writing something .

A teacher announced to her class “We’re going to be the most improved class of the month!” The students looked at her bewildered, “But, Teacher, we’re the worst performing class in the whole school for the past few months! It’s going to be difficult… ” They sighed, lowering their heads at the same time.

“Let me ask you a question, children.” She paused, peering at the kids to make sure she had their attention. “Which is easier? To improve from a score of ‘0′ or from ‘100′?” The students’ faces brightened. I was reading this story in a newsletter the other day and I couldn’t help smiling. It’s a very simple tale. Perhaps even cliché. But what’s so influencing about it... perhaps the defeatist always see their stagnant circumstances as limiting. Potentially hopeless..... But the optimist?.......He reframes it.

Yes, if I recall my memories I can remember that the same outlook towards life was seived into each one of us in those two years for which i will always be grateful to INMANTEC. It's with the same inspiration that I walk on....and will always do... Thanks and Cheers to INMANTEC !!!!!!!

Management, in today's context can be defined as the process of getting things done through and with people in formally organised groups. The most imperative skill required in the corporate world is people's skill. The route to 100% accomplishment in this voyage is through the combination of 25% knowledge plus 25% assertiveness and 50% communication. I still remember the motivation we received from our then Director of the INMANTEC infusing lot of energy in us to consciously endeavor hone all the vital skills, therefore sharpening of saw continues even after one passes out from the institution. It is very important to choose the priorities at the beginning of the management programme with a focused approach to reach the ultimate goal of pursuing MBA, a good placement. So, start near the beginning.
